Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) training exists because wiring, connectors, clamps, contamination and zonal inspection keep appearing in accident and incident investigations. AMC 20-22 sets out target groups. Target Group 1 is for personnel who perform EWIS maintenance. Target Group 2 is for personnel who perform EWIS inspections.
The mxcourse.net EWIS course is an initial knowledge course for those two groups together. It covers general practices, documentation, inspection, housekeeping, wire and connective devices. It does not assess crimping skill, grant a wiring stamp, or replace the organisation’s practical competence check.
